Terms of Service
Draft — last updated June 11, 2026. US customers only.
1. What we do
PrintNearMe connects you with local 3D-printer owners who print the file you provide. We are a printing service acting on your instructions — we do not sell designs, and we never download models from the internet on your behalf. You upload every file yourself.
2. Your file, your responsibility
By placing an order you promise (legally, you warrant) that:
- you own the file or hold a license that lets it be printed for you;
- your order is for personal, noncommercial use unless you have separate written rights;
- printing it doesn't violate anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
If a designer's license requires attribution, keep it with the model. We display designer attribution on orders when provided.
3. Banned items
We will not print, and will cancel + refund any order for:
- firearm frames, receivers, suppressors, or other regulated firearm parts;
- models of trademarked or copyrighted characters you don't have rights to;
- anything illegal to make or possess in your state.
4. Orders, quality, and pickup
- Your price is fixed at checkout from a real slice of your file.
- You'll receive a photo of the finished print before handoff.
- Default delivery is free local pickup at an agreed public spot; bring your pickup code.
- Problems? Report within 48 hours of pickup and we'll reprint or refund at our discretion.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Printer owners are independent operators paid per job; PrintNearMe retains a platform fee.
6. Content moderation & repeat infringers
We review orders and may refuse any job. Accounts that repeatedly submit infringing files will be terminated (see our DMCA policy).
7. Liability
Prints are provided as-is for hobby use; they are not certified for safety-critical applications. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
